For 14 years Dr. Hoy held three practice management certifications, and is now a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. From 2012 to 2026 Dr. Hoy held two certifications from the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance. The first is Certified Healthcare Billing Specialist, granted in 2012, and the second is Certified Healthcare Collections Manager, granted in 2013. These certifications demonstrate that Dr. Hoy, a compliance professional, understands and abides by national regulations governing medical billing and collections. For each of the certifications above continuing education is required annually.
In addition to his two medical and surgical board certifications, Dr. Hoy has been certified as a Certified Medical Manager from the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management.
