The following are the Centers for Disease Control and American Podiatric Medical Association recommendations for health care:
Healthcare facilities and clinicians should prioritize urgent and emergency visits and procedures now and for the coming several weeks. The following actions can preserve staff, personal protective equipment, and patient care supplies; ensure staff and patient safety; and expand available hospital capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic:
- Delay all elective ambulatory provider visits
- Reschedule elective and non-urgent admissions
- Delay inpatient and outpatient elective surgical and procedural cases
During these turbulent times, as doctors’ offices are considered essential services, our office is open for urgent conditions.
We provide a safe, sanitized environment. All common surfaces are sanitized with each patient visit. Our window is open for good air circulation.
Podiatrists only work with feet and ankles which maintains distance.
At this time primary care providers and emergency room physicians are attending to very important matters.
If you do not have fever, cough or difficulty breathing and want care for your urgent foot and ankle condition in a safe environment, please reach out to us.
Thank you and best wishes for the good health of you and your family.
